If you have been following along, then feel free to share your stories of enlightenment with us thus far. There is no doubt in my mind that by now, God has not spoken to you in some way or showed you a sign. When I first started this daily meditation, I was unemployed. Today I am writing you declaring that I had an interview today and received a call within an 1 hour of returning home that I got the job! Remember that God is good and faithful and He will hear us when we call out to him. Praise Him!
What has God spoken to your heart through these scriptures and prayers? The Bible encourages us to share our experiences with others, it is what's known as 'witnessing'. Please feel free to use the comments section below each of these daily posts, to share your thoughts and experiences with us, and witness to us. You don't even have to include your name. Just let us know you are out there, enjoying these daily lessons and meditations with us. Thank you. I look forward to reading your thoughts, prayers, and stories. Read More…

I have recently found myself in a bit of a predicament, through my own actions and decisions, and have been praying to God to give me a sign and to help lead me out of it. I have been praying feverently about this while looking for signs and solutions on my own. So what really hit home for me yesterday was verse 5: "Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding." Through my 2nd reading and meditation of Proverbs 3, this verse really spoke to my heart, telling me that it was time for me to stop asking for the same thing, over and over, and start trusting that He has heard and will take care of it for me. Further, verse 6 reads that " In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths." Again He promises that if all I do is trust, then He will take care of it. Verses 11 and 12 then goes on to read "My son, do not despise or shrink from the chastening of the Lord [His correction by punishment or by subjection to suffering or trial]; neither be weary of or impatient about or loathe or abhor His reproof. For whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights."
